Project me ...
I have decided to start doing a few things for me.
Yes me. Selfish me. She is talking up for herself and making changes!
Project me is about giving myself a little boost. I'm not exercising, I'm not strong, I'm tired and probably a little cranky some may say! I'm not eating great and reach for the "sweet" option too many times because I'm looking for energy. Project me is not about me looking better. It is about me feeling better. It is about increasing my energy, getting strong and most importantly being healthier for my little ones. Being a fit, fun loving Mom and less of the sugar high one minute and a sugar crash, cranky bitch the next! Project Me will involved some things to make me feel and look better too but that is secondary to giving my health a kickstart during this journey.
I am, at my happiest than I have ever been which is a great start. Health wise I'm a bit iffie (is that how you spell a word that doesn't exist!). My thyroid is playing around a little and I am not sticking to my diet 100% of gluten free as I am an undiagnosed coeliac. This means that I came off all wheat prior to being tested which some doctors will applaud and some will say that I need to go back on so they can diagnosed me. This would mean that I would feel like crap, have diarrhoea, constipation, extreme tiredness and mouth ulcers so that they can tell me that I am officially a coeliac! Ahhhhh, I think you might know what I have chosen!
I have a few projects in mind and I am sure this will grow with time.
}> Get my arse moving. Exercise.
}> Drink more water!
}> Improve my diet. It is really not that bad. If I removed the truck loads of sugar, it will be a huge improvement. But I need to gather, bake and prepare the snap and grab foods so I stop reaching for the crap stuff.
}> Clean out my wardrobe. Shocking amount of clothes that I have no place in my wardrobe. I will be left with a very small amount of clothes but I am ok with this. I am setting myself some rules prior and I am going to bring in the big guns to get this job done. I am going to go brutal!
}> Clear out my personal items. For example my make-up bag. That will be a first. It is quiet embarrassing. I met a beautiful girl a couple of weeks ago called Sharon Farrell and since I have watched a few of her videos on make-up. Well lets say she is amazing! AMAZING! And inspiring and so I would like to be able to pull out a couple of key items and make a little improvement!
}> Hair. I am NOT ready to discuss this.
}> Running. I don't know why this is on my list but it is. We will see how that goes. At the moment I have forgotten how to run and can barely manage a fast walk!
I have been to the doctor and had the usual bloods to ensure everything is in order to start. I am still breastfeeding so my diet will not alter too much. I need that food but I want it to be great food. Not good food! Yummy, nutritious, milk producing, full of flavour food! Think I might be hungry ....!
Join me, join me! It won't be easy but it will be fun!
